Philip Ferguson, Ph.D.
Professor of Education & Author
Dr. Ferguson is the Desmond Lee Professor of Education and Children with Disabilities at the College of Education, University of Missouri St. Louis. His work focuses on family support policy and disability history, and qualitative research methods.
He has a long-standing personal and professional commitment to students with severe disabilities and their families.
As the parent of an adult son with multiple disabilities, Dr. Ferguson has been a dedicated participant in disability advocacy organizations at the local, state and national levels for over 30 years.
